Bailey Cunningham lives in the Pacific Northwest. She is a MacDowell Fellow, the winner of the 2019 Crazyhorse Crazyshorts! Competition, and was awarded a 2019 residency at the Millay Colony for the Arts. She was selected as a Rona Jaffe Foundation Fellow for 2021. Her work has been nominated for the Best of the Net, and appears or is forthcoming in Gulf Coast, Carve Magazine, The Rumpus, Lunch Ticket, Contrary Magazine, the Journal of Compressed Creative Arts, Sandy River Review, Spry Literary Journal, and Jeopardy Magazine. She received her MFA from Western Washington University and was the 2018-2019 managing editor of the Bellingham Review. She is currently writing a novel.
